We did not want music that was very loud and we did not want the music to overpower the scenes that were going on. Therefore we wanted a soundtrack that was mysterious and eerie.
We searched on many websites and we found it very hard to find music that was copyright free. We asked many people that had made their own music to see if their music would fit, but most of it did not fit the genre.
We came across a website called Freeplay Music and this was very good as it allowed us to play and use music without any problems.
We searched through the website many many times untill we finally found a peice of music that fitted our opening sequence perfectly, it is called 'Thrilla' which is just a very good coinsidence! Here is the description that the peice of music gave us .... " Moving ""Tribal"" percussive piece that features an eerie ""bowed"" guitar and pan flute with modulations. Sections of war drums interrupt the groove for a heart stopping effect."
We especially liked the 'heart stopping effect' and the music fitted brilliantly with the timming of our film and it gave us the feeling of anticipation and tension, which is what we wanted.
